Raw Basics returns with a split EP from two of the best Antipodean producers around at the moment.
The one and only Cassius Select starts the EP with the anthemic Scrooge. Opening with a blistering clarion call, before dropping into his signature skitty drums and sub bass, vocal snippets sprinkled throughout. This is follow with Who Teh. A moody heads down, screw face track for the deepest, darkest, and dankest corners of the dance floor.
The B side opens with Ebbs ‘Alloy’, an ominous builder of a track that opens up into an addictive melodic drum pattern that just begs for a rewind every time. Ebb follows this with Visions. A euphoric, light and airy, dreamlike intro drops into a deep and deadly sub bass with minimal stepping drums. This one is going to be big!
